Using llncs.cls and not getting proper paragraphs indents

Hi,

Using llncs.cls which seems to be used a lot for a style sheet for articles. But when I edit the sample given to create my own .tex file the paragraph styling seems to be gone and there is no indents? Any ideas? i am pretty sure I have kept all the relative items in the .tex file
