Hi everyone,
Anyone has a template of the journal of 'The Lacent'?
Dear all,
I’m afraid the origin and purposes of this discussion was absent from the email I received, so apologies if this doesn’t answer your question.
The Lancet (as well as other Elsevier publications using EES) asks that manuscript text is submitted in MS Word format or similar. EES then converts all submitted documents (including image files for figures, etc.) into a single, flat PDF for review purposes (though the system holds on to the original documents as well).
"When the Elsevier Editorial System EES asks you to submit your manuscript source files, do the following:
Please note the following technical requirements for the submission of source files:
If the journal does not have the item type 'LaTeX source files', please contact sup...@elsevier.com."
I should add that I found this thread while searching for the right class file to use with The Lancet because I'm planning to submit a manuscript there in the next month. I'll post again with a definitive 'this is what happened' when I submit.
