Correct page number and links for bibliography in thesis

Hi,
Since hyperref package is used to create links for table of contents, and due to default behavior of bibliography, the page number for bibliography is incorrect and also if you click on the bibliography link in the front, it won't take you to the correct page.
This problem can be overcome by adding the following two lines
\cleardoublepage
\phantomsection
just before the following command
\addcontentsline{toc}{chapter}{References}
Now the links and page number for bibliography will be correct.
