Como remover < > de URLs nas referências bibliográficas

Bom dia! Estou escrevendo um trabalho e estou usando o abntex2 para as referências bibliográficas. Contudo, na NBR 6023:2018 não é necessário usar < e > para delimitar URLs, mas mesmo assim estes símbolos aparecem. Já tentei modificar os arquivos .bst para removê-los, mas ainda continuam aparecendo.

Eu consigo remover no .bbl, mas o hyperlink deixa de funcionar. Se alguém souber como resolver isso eu agradeço demais.
