Numeração de capítulos

Pessoal bom dia,

estou na classe report querendo mudar o seguinte.

\chapter{Unidade III} 

Gera o Capítulo 3 

            Unidade III

  

Como tirar a título Capítulo 3  e deixar só Unidade III? E aparecer Unidade III no sumário!

mas veja bem ficou com numeração após compilar 3 vezes o .tex.

então o que você quer é que os capítulos tenham o nome "Unidade", o número depois de "Unidade", em romanos, mas que as seções tenham o número do capítulo e o número da seção ambos em algarismos arábicos. depende do seu objetivo.

Supondo que utiliza o pacote babel, abaixo uma sugestão:

Sim,  só precisei mudar aqui vermelho para arabic, pois, com Roman as numerações da lista de figuras e tabela ficaram um misto de arabic e Roman. Ficou perfeito minha apostila. Agradecimentos redobrados.
