Just a quick update for you all, we registered an embargo at the
courts in february 2010 and low and behold the first EVER contact from
Peinsa to our solicitor, they offered us 3,000 euro's deposit and
2,500 euro's to legal bills, needless to say refused as they owe us
3,000 deposits, legal bill 5,000 and counting, and 11,200 euro's in 6%
interest for 2 years and four months, and now another 200 euro's for
6% interest on out 3,000 deposit for last year!!
TOTAL OWING AS PER THEIR CONTRACT: 19,400 euros so you can see why we
did not except offer, an insult!!
The embargo is the way forward for everybody, worst case senario:
peinsa go bust (which is happening every week for the last 18 months)
you are on a list of creditors, the banc take the land they pay you!!
Best case, Peinsa decide to do the honourable thing PAY US BACK!! They
wrote the contract!! they can continue the build and we all live
happily ever after!! Peinsa cant do a thing with the land with
embargo's on it Please now see your solicitor!!! A lot of people are
now going down this route, and the ones who have given up might get a
renewed vigour.
