Hi to anyone still viewing! Hope the majority of you have managed to
get your money back now, if at least most of it.
This is just a note to say that Google Groups will be removing any
pages and files (including photos) from the Group in February 2011 so
if there's anything you wanted to keep for whatever reason then you
may wish to download a copy.
This doesn't affect the discussion posts, as far as I understand.

Hi all.
We are Mick and Lyn Howlett. We are with Costalaluz
lawyers and we have accepted an offer from Urfesan but are still waiting for our
money after 4 weeks of them saying that they would put it into our account
within 15-20 days. We did not have a bank guarantee so went down the road of
them beaking the contract. It has been about 2 years getting to the courts. The
lawyers have
been very good about answering all our concerns
quickly. All we can do now is wait,

The last email we received beginning of Oct stated that the courts granted them a move to another jurisdiction at San Javier. This would suit us better as we have a place near there, however it seems to be taking forever. We had a bank guanrantee which previous solicitors let run out.

Hi all
did your solicitors make you all aware it was illegal for a bank
gurantee to have an expiry date on it? the solicitor should have taken
to bank of popular
and cashed it for you there is a law in spanish law saying the expiry
date on this document is illegal !!!!! spanish law 58/63??
Who on the forum has had their interest and costs? just waiting for
embargo to be registered on La Tercia real, for our 1st deposit 3,000
and interest 11,400 euros and legal costs, 5,000
euro's and counting!!!
