It might sound easy, but it is actually a common issue that most of us face in day to day lives. Sometimes the files are too large to be uploaded; sometimes the recipient cannot download the files successfully; and sometimes the service provider charge a sum for sending files above a certain size.
As you try to send the email, you will notice that you can attach some files. If you have more files, it will get failed. In case if you are using some email services providers, some cloud service products will only allow you to upload a file with a size of 2GB under their free plan. But what if you have a file that is bigger than 2GB?
Under such circumstance, one tip is to compress the files before you send it. Compressing files into RAR or ZIP documents can shrink their size and make the transfer faster whichever method you choose. However, if the content is still too baggy to be sent, you will have to pay out of your pocket to upgrade your plan, or switch to other free methods.
Transferring files via bluetooth is a popular way to send files wirelessly; and it is free. It works smoothly between most types of devices, with an exception between iOS and Chrome OS. The standard procedure is to turn on Bluetooth on both ends, pair them, and start sending and receiving files.
Other deficiencies of Bluetooth also make it a less than ideal option for sending large files. For example, you can only send files when you are physically near the recipient or receiving device. In addition, there are limits to the speed of transfer, which is a horrible thing for large file transfer.
Many such services are available in the network. Basically, all you have to do is to upload your files, customize some parameters, and create a link to share with others. However, your experience can vary among different service providers. Some services set an unpleasant limit to the number and total size of files that users can upload and share.
TeraBox offers the most secure file sharing service. One of the most impressive features that you can get out of TeraBox is that you can assign a validity period for the files that you are going to share. For example, you can make the link expire in 7 days or 30 days. If you want to share files permanently, you will be able to do it as well.
If you are going to share a large file that contains sensitive or personal information, you may think about password protecting it as well. Only people who have access to your password will be able to open the file from the URL. This can offer peace of mind to you, as even a person who receives your URL will not be able to open the file without knowing the password.
The rclone copy file will be downloaded again without error, and the file cannot be uploaded when I upload to terabox large files(about>500MB).This error occurs only when uploading to terabox. The terabox I mounted through alist can be successfully copied using the alist copy function, but this error occurs when using rclone, the upload fails and the file is downloaded repeatedly.
Besides, MEGA only has 20 GB used for free, and that may not enough for you. Thus, you may need to create multiple accounts or use multiple cloud services. And so, you may want to how to transfer files from one MEGA account to another, or from your MEGA to another cloud storage. But how to migrate data from one MEGA to another?
Considering those inconvenient aspects, here we will introduce another faster ways to help move files from MEGA to another. That is to turn to MultCloud, a free cloud file manager, which can put multiple cloud drives into one for managing files and transferring files across cloud drives safely.
To transfer data across different cloud (accounts or service), it can perform a direct migration without downloading and re-uploading. In other words, it is able to migrate files from MEGA to another without going through your local storage. In addition, it won't rely on network, but on the traffic data. Even if your computer is turned off, the task can run smoothly on the background.
Then, you can use it to manage your cloud drives. To migrate files from MEGA to another cloud drive, here you need to add MEGA to MultCloud. Click Add Cloud, select MEGA, then go to the next step.
Then, you need to decide the destination drives and use the same way to add another cloud drive to which you want to migrate the files to. You can choose anyone we mentioned above. Here we take an example for transferring files from MEGA to Google Drive. Add your Google Drive to MultCloud. Click Add Cloud, and select Google Drive.
One of the critical factors of cloud storage programs is sharing files. I tried sharing a couple of files to an email, but it gave me an error. I tried sharing again, and the same error was displayed.
Like OneDrive, TeraBox offers a safe folder called Personal Vault that can be used to password-protect files. The vault requires a 4-digit PIN, and If you forget the PIN, there is no way to open the folder.
The application for Terabox is some sort of virus. It forces itself on your pc, even if you try to uninstall it. So the best way to dispose of the app is to just go into appdata\roaming and then delete all of its files.
i have the paid 2TB version of TERABOX. i use it primarily for video storage. because what else are you going to use all that terabytes of storage space for? speed is reasonably fast -- BUT really reallt really need to be paid if want premium fast speed with no file limits. really recommend paid version because the free version is handicapped in terms of speed and how many files you can actually have. my previous research indicates TERABOX and its servers are based in JAPAN where they have strict privacy laws -- as strict as in europe. ignore the ancient history with the old dubox/china nonsense. apparently some smart rich JAPANESE people bought the technology & the free terabyte marketing concept to set up shop with their TERABOX cloud business in JAPAN to serve the world outside china. because you're not going to use dubox in china! so TERABOX is good enough for me at least for storing my video movies & shows. i pay $2.99/month for my TERABOX 2TB -- i got that price by first getting the free version and THEN waiting for them to offer the lower discounted $2.99/month cost (which is permanent lifetime) in the mobile app.
I will say this, from my own experience. I have been using this program for about two years. I do not have a premium subscription. It doesn't have a limit of 500 files, or rather it doesn't have any limit, except for the amount of memory itself. Also, the data is really stored in the cloud and does not disappear anywhere over time. The function of the app is completely enough for me. I did not notice any problems with downloading and transferring files. But I still do not trust this application. Free cheese only in the mousetrap and there is not much information about this service. A strange referral program for attracting new users, which can be in the form of additional space or money, is also alarming. Also, the application has something similar to a torrent tracker called "content space", which I understand is not legal (I am especially worried about this issue because I am currently in Germany, and piracy is quite strict here). In conclusion, what I can say is that the service can be used and it can be really quite useful, but always remember that you should NOT download any confidential information, and download what you are not afraid of losing.
@D.K,When you delete this App what happen to aĺ the files downloaded on the App? Will the downloads be deleted from the original file.EX: Photos, videos,Documents Ect.I'm sorry for asking this but I really don't trust this App.I recieved an Email today "If I don't cancel today I will be charged full price.WTF
They are a Chinese company, and the service was originally called Dubox. Under this brand, they were known to use some questionable tactics. They refer to your data as "user material", which in practice means they can sell the data you upload to your terabox drive. They were also known to use a tactic where once you upload a lot of data, they start to bandwidth throttle your free account, at which point almost ransoming you to upgrade to premium.
