Join us for our regular monthly LAPHP talk on October 5th at CoLoft.

We will have a special guest in October -- Jeff Barr from Amazon.com
will present an introduction to the Amazon Web Services, including the
Elastic Compute Cloud, the Simple Storage Service, the Relational
Database Service, and the Simple Notification Service.

Jeff’s talk will cover the services from a business and a technical
perspective, and will include demos and plenty of PHP.

Jeff is a Senior Amazon Web Services Evangelist. He is also the author
of “Host Your Web Site in the Cloud,” published by SitePoint in
September of 2010. Jeff’s talk will include examples drawn from his
