I was using the toolbox provided to me by Testo, which had LabVIEW VIs, which didn't worked, straight away. The documentation of the VIs was poor, after some trial and error I found what Instrument name I should be using, it was a string input, in the VIs provided they had the following options: "testo175-177" after runngin around I found the string which should be used is "testo175-176-2010". Anyhow we had spent enough time on this product and the support wasn't great. The reply which I got was that the German office of Testo has advised that they have checked with their previous customers, and none of them has experienced this issue, Germany office haven't tried to replicate the problem inhouse.

I presume you have to right click (or double click) on the Testo-176 device... I hope you figured it out by now because I'm unable to double check -testo device is in another production facility - sorry.

Now I have another problem: Besides the testo analyzer I am acquiring like 20 temperature values from thermocouples, a pressure value that I use to control the opening of a chimney and I acquire a weight from the signal of a scale.

If you have downloaded the toolbox from the testo website, you won't be able to communicate with the analyzer... Contact Testo and ask them for the complete toolbox... I think it's size is over 80MB. Much bigger than the one in the website. Besides, when you install the version they supply, It will register all the dll's correctly

I am facing the same kind of issue " IdCom was invalid" when i try to initialize initialization sub vi of the testo sample labview driver. It looks same issues faced by some peoples and discussed. Could anyone suggest us to solve this issue.

The testo Comfort Software Basic 5 serves the purpose of saving, reading out and analysing individual readings and measurement series. The graphical presentation of readings is the main task of this program.

Readings are measured with Test Data Loggers and transmitted to the PC via an interface. Reading out data is accomplished with the testo Comfort Software Basic 5, which activates the interfaces and provides all functions.

Firstly, I suggest you download and install the Testo USB driver - V2.8 from Testo Download Center. If it doesn't help, remove Comfort Software Basic from your computer (Control Panel > Uninstall a program) and install it again. Also, download and run the Fix It utility provided by Microsoft. If you still have issues, you will need to contact the developer.

The Testo IRSoft thermography analysis software allows you to evaluate your infrared images. The program is used for the analysis, processing and archiving of the images recorded by the testo 880 thermal imager. It also has integrated reporting for the clear presentation of the data. Cruise was the first commercial driverless taxi system in a major U.S. city. But Waymo opened a fully autonomous commercial ride hail service to the public in October 2020 in suburban Chandler, Arizona.

Installation

1. Make sure you have administrator rights for installation.
2. Insert the CD-ROM. If the installation program does not start automatically, open My Computer, select the CD drive, and double click on TestoSetup.exe.
3. Confirm the prompt to allow the program to install software on your computer.
4. Follow the instructions provided by the testo USB Driver setup wizard to complete the installation.

Virtual COM Port SettingsThis section applies only to specific models (testo 174, testo 175, testo 177, testo 580) and assumes that the USB interface/adapter is connected to the computer and the necessary drivers are installed.Note the COM interface number displayed after the USB driver installation. This number is required when connecting the data logger to the Comsoft software. The COM interface number remains the same only if you consistently connect the USB interface to the same USB port or leave it connected.TroubleshootingIf you encounter any errors, refer to the instrument manager for error reports.Application information

   1. The status Installing testo USB Driver is displayed.
   2. The text Completed the testo USB driver Setup Wizard is displayed.
4. End installation with Finish.

• Error report:In the instrument manager appears.
• Cause:Driver installation was not carried out correctly.
• Error correction:Re-install driver.
• In Windows 7:Context menu Properties > Driver > Update Driver... > OK.
• In Windows 8.1Context menu Properties > Driver > automatically
• In Windows 10Context menu Properties > Driver > automatically.

2. Install Comfort Software 5.
3. Delete instrument links from the archive and create them again via Autodect.
   • Select the folder in which the downloaded Zip-file was saved and unpack the Zip-file.
   • Start the file Setup.exe.
   • Follow the instructions of the installation wizard.
   • Click on [Complete] to complete the software installation. After completion of the software installation, the instrument must be connected to the PC to continue with the driver installation.
   • Use the USB-cable to connect the instrument to the PC.
     • The connection will be set up.
     • The driver installation will be executed automatically.

Starting the softwareStarting the Comfort softwareThe user interface of the software is opened in the language of the operating system, if it is supported. If the language of the operating system is not supported, the user interface is in English.
