I should have proposed: Build a Library, the best library. What does
it look like? What work goes on there? What is the Patron
experience?

I should have been more involved (I was half a camper).

What about you? What did you wish you had done with your LATcamp
time?

I should have proposed a session on how law students do research. I
also should have found a way to recruit more law students to LATCamp.
Part of the concept was to bring together all the players involved in
legal education and put them in the same room. Librarians and
professors should hear how students are doing their work. Students
should hear what librarians do behind the scenes to make their
research easier. All should be working collaboratively with
technologists to create/adapt tools that are necessary to legal
research. Cut out the assumptions - you know what they do.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, so I'm not entirely sure I can say I should have done things. I know for next time I will be more evangelical at my institution to get more people to come. I think there was such an amazing opportunity to absorb and share that it wasn't possible for me to do it alone! I also think that it would have been of great benefit to people outside of what I do, ed tech, to be there.

Had I felt more confident in understanding what it was, I would have done a dork short. Maybe even a session proposal, though the ones I was able to attend were fantastic at starting the conversation. One thing I would love to do as result of attending is to start cultivating relationships with the people I met, and didn't meet, to better understand what everyone is doing. The information regarding BU's Emerging Technologies Group sounded so intriguing -- I'd love to see if we could do something like that locally between all of us. Any interest?

Thanks again to the organizers. Great program.
