Question on the lasinfo64 new csv output...
My current testing shows that the output will sum the extended class point counts and only report them as one value, rather than split by class.
Is there a way to have the extended class point counts reported per class as they are in the text output?

Example of text lasinfo output:

lasinfo_txt.png

Example of CSV output:

Prompts used for CSV output:
"%LASINFO%" ^
        -i "%INPUT%" ^
-ocsv ^
        -csv ^
-full_csv ^
        -o "%OUTPUT%"

Hi Kate,
the csv output in "-full_csv" mode has already very much columns, so we decided not to list the extended classes above class 32 as individual column. If there is a huge demand of having this information we can think about to add those columns to the output.

Hi Jochen,

Bathymetric lidar projects typically include classes 40-48. Those of us working in that industry would be happy if columns for those got added to the output.

Hi Kate,
Hi Nick,
We extended lasinfo64 to enable a full extended class output on csv table output. The argument to enable those extra columns is "-full_class".
To generate a csv table of all files in the current directory you can use

lasinfo64.exe -i *.laz -o table_with_extenden_class.csv -full_csv -full_class

This change will be included in the next version unless we announce otherwise.
Please use this beta version until then.

Cheers,

Jochen @rapidlasso

Thanks, Jochen. That's great news! I'll test out the beta version this week.
