I would like to use Lasview tool to visualize some LAS file.

is this tool free to use?

Hi Riccardo,

yes, lasview is part of LAStools, where some tools are free to use. Please see our cheat sheet which tools this are (the ones in green text color).
Please download the latest version of LAStools from our web page.

As an alternative viewer you can also use laslook, which is part of the "LAStools with GUI" package and also for free.
