Lasclip tool_QGIS

Hello, I have been trying to use the lasclip, but it keeps showing the following error.

ERROR: wrong shape_type 0 != 5

 How can I navigate this?

Hi Prajwal,

following the SHP specification shape files can contain different type of shapes. Within your SHP file there seems to be a shape type "0" = "Null Shape". In lasclip we only can process shapes of type "Polygon" (type 5). (A type "0" for sure does not make sense in there.)

It seems your SHP file is invalid or malformed.

QGIS offers ways to fix/examine shape files to analyze this further.
