Step function

I'm not sure I particularly understand the step function. I don't quite understand what it does, nor do I quite understand how to tell what I should set it at. 
  I especially don't seem to understand it in relation to las2dem -spike_free. Any insight most welcome.

Also a good solution is to do some own samples on a small tile with different arguments and argument parameters.

If you do not see the differences there please post this samples here (data + output) and we can have a look all together to your specific data.

Hi Jochen,

 

Could you have a look at blast2dem? The spike_free is not working and the line of code still produce kml with the setting -no_kml

 

"C:\LASTools\bin\blast2dem.exe" -i D:\C2_wrk.laz -keep_class 2 -step 1 -spike_free 0.9 -epsg 32647 -nodata -9999 -o D:\C2_wrk_DTM_1m_tmp.tif -no_kml

ERROR: cannot understand argument '-spike_free'

Hi Susana, 

Blast2DEM does not support spike_free, you need to use las2dem for spike-free.

the -no_kml argument seems not to work on blast2dem :-/

It works on las2dem.
