Hello,

I have followed the instructions I have found on this page for installation of LAStools in QGIS -
http://rapidlasso.com/2013/09/29/how-to-install-lastools-toolbox-in-qgis/

But when I try to execute on of the tools in the toolbox I get a window with a message: Missing dependency
Missing dependency. This algorithm cannot be run :-(
LAStools folder is not configured. Please configure it before running LAStools algorithms.

My QGIS version is 2.0.1 Dufour
And I am running it on Lubuntu 14.04

Will be grateful if anyone can help me with this,

Cheers,

Omer

Hi Omer,
did you get your issue resolved? I'm running into the same problem. Any feedback from you would help.

Thanks!

Victor,

I thought this issue was resolved in the meantime with a new QGIS built. A while ago I had this same issue but with the help of Victor Olaya and Martin I was able to resolve this particular problem by editing a textfile named ‘processing.conf’ in the QGIS user folder, find the line LASTOOLS_FOLDER= and change the line to LASTOOLS_FOLDER=C:\LAStools  (or another folder where you have installed LAStools)
That should solve your problem.

Edgar
