to LAStools - efficient tools for LiDAR processing
Hey all,

We're looking at Azure/Windows Virtual Desktop and moving away from giving people physical desktops and laptops.  Has anybody used  LASTools in an AVD environment?

The virtual desktops will be hosted in Azure, and will run Windows 10 Enterprise for Virtual Desktops.   The infrastructure will be setup as multi-session pools, non persistent hosts, meaning that there will be multiple machines and users can end up logging on any of them.  Users will not have a machine dedicated to them. This will also mean that there will be several users launching the software on the same machine at the same time.

Will LASTools work properly in this type of setup?

Thanks.
