I would like to generate a 3D view of a pointcloud using 'laspublish'.
When opening the generated .html file (see code below), all i can see is a black screen.

H:\LAStools\bin>laspublish -i %dir_data%\%name_data% ^
More? -odir %dir_out% ^
More? -o t5.html ^
More? -copy_source_files ^
More? -olaz

I would assume that the errors
ERROR: unit 9110 not known
ERROR: unit 9110 not known
ERROR: unit 9201 not known
ERROR: unit 9001 not known
contribute to that, yet I do not know what they mean or how I can prevent them.

A lasinfor report is added as an attachment.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Hello,

simply opening the resulting HTML page from the local file system will not work. The HTML page needs to be accessed "via the Web" or more importantly via an Apache server. You can either move the entire folder onto the Web and access it via a proper URL or install Xampp that will create a local host on for one folder of your file system.

Alternatively you can install PotreeDesktop (instead of a browser) to directly load the Potree point cloud. This is what I usually do as a preview or if I have no plans of putting the content on the Web.

Regards,

Martin
