Visual Density map output

Hi 

I have bunch of las files on which i need to output a density heat map

areas of less than 10 ppm and areas of more than 10 ppm

data is in State plane LA_N Survey feet

so far i have this but output is not meaningful

mkdir density_check

lasgrid ^
-i *.las ^
-last_only ^
-step 2 ^
-point_density ^
-false ^
-set_min_max 5 10 ^
-compute_min_max ^
-o density_5_10.png ^
-survey_feet
-sp83 LA_N
-odir density_check
