Installing LASTOOLS on QGIS; Not all geoalgorithms present

to LAStools - efficient tools for LiDAR processing
I'm trying to install LASTOOLS on QGIS (QGIS version 2.18.16, on Ubuntu 16.04). I downloaded the latest version of LASTOOLS and have followed these instructions. I get to the point where my Processing Toolbox shows "Tools for LiDAR data [23 geoalgorithms]", but a number of these algorithms (e.g. lasground and lasview) are missing. Any thoughts what could be causing this?

Or, if it's much easier to get it working on QGIS 3.03 working on Ubuntu, any pointers for getting that installed would help too.

Hello Eduard,

as many LAStools are only available as Windows executables you will also need to install Wine on your system and then set the PATH / Folder to Wine in QGIS the same way you set the PATH / Folder to LAStools. See also these articles in the user forum:
