to LAStools - efficient tools for LiDAR processing
In the most recent lastools release, it seems that the -ojs output has changed?  there used to be point counts for each classification in the file, now I cant seem to invoke this option at all.   If I use "full_csv" I see that version does still output this classification count.

Also, theres a note in "CHANGES"
4 May 2026 -- NEW: lasinfo supports CSV table output to get an overview about many files at once
I have been unable to create a tabular output and theres no mention of exactly how this might be accomplished?

Thanks!

Ok perhaps for the first question around classification count, the option is now to generate a histo?

Hi Duncan,
thanks for your information about lasinfo. The new features are described in the README and in this blog.
Aggregate functions have been disabled for the default CSV output. It appears that they are no longer working correctly for the JSON output either. We will release a fix for this in the coming days so that it works again.

Cheers,

Jochen @rapidlasso
