lasgrid after spike_free

to LAStools - efficient tools for LiDAR processing

Is it possible to both run spike_free with las2dem and then use lasgrid -subcircle for a final output? This for a large number of files where lasgrid is particularly useful but I'd really like to utilize spike-free as well.
