Faro Laser Scan Files

Does lastools programs  read *.fls files. Or do I need to export them to some middle format then to las or  laz.

Hey Alejandro,

I'm actually doing work with Faro's laser scanner as well. I've exported the scan files out of SCENE as .xyz (text) files, but have been running into difficulties converting them to DEMs. As far as I know, it doesn't read .fls files.

Hello, i'm working with Faro too, in helical mode and from helicopter (aerial scan).
Because Scene don't include the timestamp in exports, I convert the fls files using a script, working with faro SDK.

My fight now is how to geo-reference this points.

We can share here some experiences.
