NOTE: This behavior is new. Homebrew, LAStools, Wine have all been working well for about three months and up until about a week ago. Apple has pushed several OS updates this past week.

Environment
2021 16" Macbook running Sequoia 15.5.

Error message in Terminal
I'm getting a "permission denied: /opt/homebrew/bin" error when running command that has always worked before.

Here is the command line in Terminal:

/opt/homebrew/bin /Users/KenJacobMacbook/QGIS/LAStools/bin/lasinfo64.exe -v -i "/Users/KenJacobMacbook/QGIS/LiDAR/cathedral pines/840865_se.laz"

Error message in QGIS
If I try to run the same tool from QGIS, I get the following error message:

/bin/sh: /opt/homebrew/bin: is a directory

ANY IDEA WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE???

Hi Ken,
this issue was reported and solved some days ago here:
    https://groups.google.com/g/lastools/c/I2WJ-G4oXFI
Short version:
Just add "/wine" in your LAStools plugin settings on QGIS to the wine path.
Please excuse the gap in the documentation, we will improve documentation for Mac usage with next version.

Cheers,

Jochen @rapidlasso

Thank you very much Jochen.

I'm back up and running.
