to LAStools - efficient tools for LiDAR processing
Hello,

I'm working with lasview, started the GUI
I watched the Tutorial first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6oaW5jx4nQ

To find the areas I have to check the ground data, I made a hillshade using blast2dem.
I made some changings and want to save them by pressing <CTRL-s> or <CTRL-a>, but neither I can see any changings (I checked in the Windows Exporer) or find the "_1"-file on my PC.
Did I miss something?

Regards,
Sebastian

Hello,

by default lasview only loads and renders 5 million points of your file (by keeping every nth point). If the file has more than 5 million points the manual edit / delete functionality is disabled. You will need to add the command line option '-points 10000000' or '-points_all' to load a bigger file or to make sure all points are loaded from file. Note that lasview interactivity will be sluggish when so many points are being loaded so it may be easier to chop very large files into smaller pieces prior to manual editing..
