Merge Points in center along line

Hi, everyone

 

 

In this point cloud, I have two sides of a wall, internal and external, I need to create a central point every 1 centimeter, for the internal wall and the external wall, could anyone guide me?

If you know that the points are denser than the  (1cm ) spacing  you want, you may find  lasthin64  useful.   

If your points are sparse then we will be need to interpolate. I don't know any tool for it. 

If you want exactly 1 cm, one approach could to be to find convex/concave hull. And then nicely layout points within the polygon.
