Bug report: Text input is centered

When clearing a field containing only a variable the text input marker is aligned to the center of the text box and text decoration is disabled.

To reproduce:

1. Start a new spreadsheet

2. Type 'F' (becomes decorated as a variable)

3. Press backspace (deletes 'F')

4. Type something else

Ah, thanks for coming up with a concrete way to reproduce this - I've seen it occasionally but didn't have a concrete way to reproduce. I'll get to work on it.

Ok, this seems to be fixed in Chrome and Safari (nothing works in IE yet). Turned out it was a Webkit bug, but I managed to workaround it :-/
