Christmas Mystery Clue Dinner

Santa's been kidnapped and it looks like the elves did it in the courtyard with the fire poker! Join SM3, Mid-Singles, and LA1st on Saturday December 11th for a delicious dinner and a life-sized interactive game of Christmas Clue. Don't be late...you might miss the smoking gun! Please feel free to invite friends and help spread the word--this will be a Christmas event they won't want to miss.

But What Should I Wear???

The following is some advice on what the fashionable party-goer will be sporting this Saturday night:

Just so you don't all lie awake, agonizing over what to wear Saturday night at the BEST Christmas party of your life...I'd be happy to put your mind at ease and give you some ideas! (also see the photos posted to the event wall)

We're going with three main avenues. You can come dressed up:

1. In your "Festive Finest". If that means a tux, a red gown, or something embellished with fur- by all means, we welcome the lavishness!
2. "Ugly Christmas Sweater"- you know- the one the random grandparent gave you because they thought you would look dashing. Turns out you don't. It's OK. Embrace it.
3. Your favorite Christmas Movie- in live form. Choose a character from one of your favorite films- The jerk uncle from "Home Alone," Yukon Cornelius from that claymation Rudolf film, the little drummer boy! The list never ends:)

Report to the Santa Monica Stake Center (3400 Sawtelle Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90066) on December 11th at 6:30 pm, where you will be fed and debriefed for this case. Come dressed in a Christmas-themed or movie character disguise so you will blend in. The world is counting on YOU!

FAMILY HOME EVENING

Join us Monday Dec. 13th for the second annual Tacky Christmas Sweater and Christmas/Holiday Bake Off Extravaganza at the Westwood Building at 7:30. (10740 Ohio Ave, behind the temple)

Have a great family receipe or special treat, desert, etc... that you only make for the Holidays? Feel like trying a new receipe that you might have seen in on TV, in a cookbook, etc...well now is your time to get creative in the kitchen. For those of you who want to bake- now is your chance, for the rest of us please dress for the season and bring your tastebuds. Santa Elfs will be juding your treats while we sing christmas carols, drink hot chocolate and feast on some awesome holiday treats.
