HelloI just installed a new Samsung 980 Pro 2TB in my Dell laptop with an i7-1195G7 and Windows 11. Everything seems to be fine so far. Booting and performance don't seem to be an issue. The M.2 slot in my laptop is PCIe 3.0 so speeds are not maxing out the 980 Pro but speeds are still decent.

Question: Magician is reporting the Microsoft NVMe driver in use. According to Samsung's website, the Samsung NVMe driver v3.3 does not support the 980 Pro. Is the Microsoft driver the best option at this point?

I have a Galaxy Tab A that I would like to connect to my computer to use as a Graphic Tablet. To do this I need Samsung Android USB Driver. There are a plethora of sites, claiming to offer drivers, each populated with a blizzard of download buttons for god knows what, but not the Drivers. Certainly nothing I would trust, If you have to trick people into downloading your app; its malware.

So I have two Questions, what is the ID for a the UBS Driver for a Galaxy 10A Model SM-P580 Running Oreo 8.1 and if at all possible a link to a reputable repository where said driver can be obtained.

Thankyou Bill, it appears to be working intermittently, but I expect the problem lies in the app connecting the PC and Tablet; but it was not working at all before. So your input was definitely a real help BB.

I have updated the PC, bios included, I have updated magician to today's version (7.2.1), and windows is up to date. I tried to install Samsung_NVM_Express_Driver_3.3 but during the installation I get the "device not connected" message.

After running a benchmark test I noticed the performance is low (3720MB/s sequential read, 2009MB/s sequential write) Samsung Magician shows me that the driver interface is not identified, I attach a printscreen of magician and the device manager window..

I have exactly the same issue with a non-pro 980 500 GB used as a secondary storage in my Acer Nitro5 under Win11 and Magician 7.2.1...and additionally it's unable to update the firmware AND usb update doesn't recognise drive at all

Same here. Magican like other ssd software like Western Digital's WDDashboard, don't support externally connected devices. However, if you want this functionality, you can just use CrystalDiskInfo, which does work on external devices (although I have not tried this out yet, but have seen youtube videos, indicating so). PS: this is just in relation to run SMART status, not updating the driver.

What you say about not being able to install the driver alarms me somewhat as I have already posted a question about the very issue. I just assumed you could install the driver, without using magician, but I haven't tried this yet. You can download the NVME Driver from -storage/support/tools/. So I assume this would work independently of Magician. I am hoping so because I want to buy a seconds device to connect externally via USB.

I'm surprised that nobody from Samsung has commented on this, afterall, this question has been around for long enough without answers. I'd be interested to hear how you manage, so it would be great for you to post an update.

I'm having a similar issue, but on top of what you are experiencing the "Classify Files" feature is showing a total of over 16.8 million TB under the 'ETC' catagory. Not sure if it has to do with the 'unknown' driver status and the 'N/A' under interface type.

I am having the same problem with Magician except it doesn't even recognize that it's a 990 Pro. I am hooked up with an external enclosure via USB-3 just to verify disk health and migrate OS before I install into my OMEN 47L. (Adding new NMV a real pain).

On initial boot, everything seems to be working fine, audio is playing. After running Windows Update (installing a whole list of updates) and Samsung Update (BIOS update) and restarting, audio stops working. After restart, Samsung Update does show an audio driver update, but installing/updating the audio driver via Samsung Update fails. Manual download and installation of the driver from Samsung Update does nothing either. Windows update says everything is updated, no new updates available.

When I use Windows' Troubleshoot Audio Problems (which takes forever), it says, "Restart your PC to finish installing drivers and updates", which does not solve the problem. Running the Troubleshooter again returns "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem".

When I go to Device Manager, a red/yellow triangle is shown by the Intel Smart Sound Technology BUS. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, updating the drivers, as well as disabling and uninstalling and reinstalling the device, all the while restarting in between. In Device Manager Properties for the Intel Smart Sound Technology BUS, under Device Status, it says the following:

In the end, I gave a clean install of Windows a try, completely resetting the laptop back to factory settings, but that didn't solve the problem either. Nothing I can think of solves the problem. Looked all over online, found nothing that describes or solves the issue. Anybody know what to do?

P.s.: Ran into more trouble. See this thread. The thing won't shut down. Unbelievable. About to give up and simply return it. This is absurd. Paid 1500 euros for this! Samsung customer service on the phone didn't know what to do and referred me to social media (??). Reached out to Samsung customer service via Twitter. Responded to my message once in the last 48 hours with no helpful info so far. Very disappointed.

I uninstalled every device related to audio, as marked in red in the screenshot below. Whenever prompted to "attempt to remove the driver for this device", I did so. After that, I rebooted the laptop and then used Samsung Update to reinstall the audio driver. This restored audio. Hope it works for you too. Let me know. Good luck

Anyone else found a real solution for this? Any word from samsung? It isn't right to let a 'pro' piece of hardware go without working speakers. THis is the flagship of the Samsung computers?? Need a fix. Want speakers !!

afraid to say same issue on galaxy 360 pro, was hoping it would of been fixed by now but no joy, the issue is the driver and a roll back to previous one works fine but every time you update it goes bad again,

I cannot say THANK YOU enough!! I paid for tech support virutally, remoted in to my computer, and took it in person and between all of that 5 different people could not figure out how to fix it. The recommendation was to return it and purchase a new laptop. I did what you did and in less than 5 mins the speakers were working again. YAY!! lol .... again, thank you!

I understand I have no tv_ip_Samsung_QE85QN800CUXUA.c4z file located on my PC and C4 drivers database. If I understand correctly, there is (I suppose it exists) a C4 driver for such type of TV, but I cannot find it. Does anyone have an experience with connection Samsung TVs to C4? Where can I donwload C4 driver for this type of Samsung TV?

Did you click on the Actions tab in Composer, and then click "Pair with TV" (and then approve the pairing request via the TV remote on the TV when it pops up)? I've seen them show offline but have other pieces populated correctly before the pairing process is complete.

yep. thats why i am asking. tried so many samsung eu tvs up to 2021 models but without success.

no pop-up messages have appeared. i dont know why, but many samsung eu models dont work with control4.

i ended up by controlling them by CEC, IR or RS232(exlink). it seams that your one connect box has no exlink anymore. sad.

Actually, I am not 100% sure about EU or US model of TV. Where can I find such info? - somewhere in TV menu (I did not find such info in "about this TV" section)? In any case thank you for your answer.

This one has been driving me crazy, but I've finally found a really, really simple solution to getting the Samsung ML-1670 running on a Mac running Catalina. This solution may also work for other unsupported Samsung printers, but I've not tested it.

I've no idea why the ML-1860 works but it definitely does; I've actually used this driver for powering our ML-1670 for many years before encountering these latest issues with Catalina. I'm not very familiar with Samsung laser printers but I guess they were very similar.

I'm not running Big Sur so no I don't. Have you tried downloading the print drivers in my original post? I was really surprised they installed on Catalina, but they did. So it wouldn't surprise me if the same is true for Big Sur.

(Don't quote me on this but I believe Catalina was the first native 64 bit operating system from Apple. It was a big change and loads of non 64 bit apps stopped working when it was released. The fact that these 7 year old print drivers still work on Catalina seems like a bit of a miracle to me. Big Sur is just the next development of Catalina rather than a ground up rebuild. I'm no expert but my thinking is, if the drivers are working on Catalina then there's a good chance they'll continue to work on Big Sur).

Thank you for your super fast reply! I can download the "programm", but when I try to install it, I get the notivication that the volume doesnt fullfill the requirements. I'm by far no expert and this whole problem is driving me insane... the apple support told me to contact samsung, but i guess that hp does the support now and to me the site not really userfriendly.
