The March 4th Purim Party at Last Resort is CANCELLED. For this year,
anyway. Nechama will be in Oregon in a tent in the rain instead of
baking hamentashen in New York City. If I were you, I'd keep an eye
on anarchistrabbi.blogspot.com for the Purim word. It's a big city,
and I know that the appropriate rabble rousing has got to be going
down "somewhere*. As regards subversive holidays, contact me if
you've got ideas along the lines of a Lag Ba'Omer pagan bacchanal or
a Passover Death Metal Show (complete with blood of Christian
babies.) Anything is possible.

Construction is started (though far from finished) and the place is
waaaay different than it was before. If you've been to Last Resort
before, you'll barely recognize it now. If you haven't been here
before, you know, you won't recognize it at all.

it ends. Right on Main Avenue, go two blocks. Bear right onto Astoria
Blvd, Last Resort is on your left.
BIKE from midtown Manhattan: Take the Queensboro bridge. At the
bottom on the bridge, left on Queensboro Plaza North. Right on 21st
St. Left on Astoria Blvd.
CAR from midtown Manhattan: Take the Queensboro bridge upper roadway.
Right on 21st St. Left on Astoria Blvd.
BIKE from upper Manhattan and the Bronx: Take the Triboro bridge. At
the bottom of the stairs leading down from the ramp, turn around 180
degrees and walk to the intersection right ahead of you, which is
Hoyt Ave and 27th St. Left on 27th St. Right on Astoria Blvd.
CAR from upper Manhattan and the Bronx: Take the Triboro Bridge. Exit
at Hoyt Ave (exit 3). Right on 29th. Right on Astoria Blvd.
*If you go this way it's only an 11 minute walk BUT if you can't

#4 - I'm a spaz
At the party on January 20th I spoke to a seriously cool woman about
storytelling. Then I forgot her name and lost her email address.
Please email me, lady. Thx.
