Hi,

is there an easy way to get windows 10 binaries for LAST.

I am planning to integrate it into an R package, anyhow, if I would like to put the R package later on CRAN or Bioconductor it would be necessary to have a functional windows binary as an external tool so that it would be accepted.

Thank you in anticipation

Best regards

Kristian Ullrich

Dear Kristian,

many thanks for your interest in LAST.

Sorry I'm not sure of the answer, but I'd investigate these approaches:

I hope that helps.
Have a nice day,
Martin

Hi,

I was able to compile with Cygwin. I now need to check if I can distribute the build exe and DLLs with my R package, since the DLLs come from Cygwin.

To distribute the source files of LAST should be no problem looking at the license of LAST (I am listening the web-url, cite it and also list the LAST license in my R package).

Attached you will see two screenshots showing the Applications .exe and DLLs dependencies.

Best regards

Kristian

Many thanks for sharing how you solved it.

Distributing should surely be no problem:

Surely, many other R packages have similarly needed cygwin(?)

Have a nice day,
Martin
