Ordering replacement registration documents does not renew your rego or extend its expiry date. If your registration is due to expire within 6 weeks, consider renewing it online rather than ordering a replacement.

Realizing you have lost or misplaced your vehicle registration can be a stressful moment. Fortunately, it is easy in most locations to contact the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and request a lost car registration renewal form to replace lost car registration papers, license plates, or vehicle stickers.

Hello,
I would like to sell my car privately. I was checking the papers today to see if everything was OK and I realized that NSW Roads and Maritime Services didn't sent me a new registration certificate (with an updated expiry date) after I renewed the rego a few months ago and I only have the previous registration certificate which has July '15 expiry date on it. I found an Online Registration Renewal Receipt (with a new receipt number) was sent to my email though. My question is, do I still need the updated registration certificate to sell this car? If not, I only need to fill Part A and Part B behind the existing registration certificate to transfer it to the buyer, correct?

The seller can then use the info from the old licence doc (VIN etc) to fill in the vehicle ownership transfer form, with the rego expiry date coming from the above site. In this electronic era, there is no need to have the current licence doc.

I wouldn't be buying your car if you cant show me the current rego papers. Go to RMS and get them. I'm also fairly certain they always send out papers, usually around 1 month before its due. Got mine the other day.

it is important to note that selling a car without registration papers can be challenging. In NSW, registration papers are legally required to transfer ownership of a vehicle. These papers include the vehicle registration certificate, proof of ownership, and current CTP insurance. If you do not have these papers, you may have difficulty selling your vehicle and attracting potential buyers.

if you have lost or misplaced your registration papers, you can still sell your car. The process involves applying for a replacement certificate of registration from the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS). This process can take some time, so it is essential that you plan ahead if you want to sell your car in a timely manner. You can also seek advice from a car dealership or vehicle assessor to help with the process.

if you are selling your vehicle for scrap, you may not need the registration papers. In NSW, you can use the CTP insurance renewal notice as proof of ownership when selling your car for scrap. The CTP renewal notice shows that you still have a registered vehicle, and therefore, it is legal to sell your car for scrap. However, be sure to check with your local scrapyard or wrecker as they may have additional requirements for selling a car for scrap.

When it comes to selling a car without rego papers, it is important to be upfront and honest with potential buyers. Disclose the fact that you do not have the registration papers and provide any necessary paperwork to prove ownership. You can also arrange for a mechanic to inspect the vehicle to give potential buyers peace of mind that they are purchasing a safe and reliable car.

Another option for selling a car without rego papers is to sell your vehicle to a dealer. Car dealerships such as Scrap cars removal have more experience in buying and selling vehicles and may be able to help you obtain the necessary paperwork or take care of the paperwork themselves. However, be prepared to receive a lower offer as the dealer will need to take extra steps to sell the car without the paperwork.

Selling a car without rego papers can be tricky, but it is possible. If you have lost or misplaced your paperwork, you can apply for a replacement from the RMS and provide any necessary proof of ownership when selling your vehicle. If you are selling your car for scrap, you may not need the registration papers and can use the CTP renewal notice as proof of ownership. It is crucial to be transparent and upfront with potential buyers when selling a car without rego papers, and seek help from a qualified mechanic or car dealer if necessary.

Ask her to get new rego papers from RMS. If she isn't able to physically pick them up due to her being in WA she can ring RMS and arrange for a family member to pick up the papers with her authority. Although I would've thought if it's her name on the rego paper it'll have to be her signature that sells the car to you.

the-mal : Yes, I was thinking to ask her to pick up the new rego paper from RMS but the thing is I can't have her to sign and send back the real copy to me only if I ask her to post it.. ( but I am thinking to buy it tmrw).

There has been a rise in the number of vehicles being detected as unregistered and motorists are confused about the registration process and their rights. Although universally know as a Pink slip it is officially called an E-safety check and is required on vehicles 5 years or older. To confirm whether your vehicle requires a safety check look at your rego papers, it will state under the billing number whether an inspection is required.

The registration check is actually the cheapest part of your rego, being $39 for cars and $24 for bikes (this changes on the 1st of July). You are better off having your inspection done early as it will give you time to rectify any problems that may arise during your inspection. If an initial inspection identifies repairs required you will be issued with a white slip and have 14 days to have the repairs undertaken. The repaired car will then be checked at no additional charge at the same venue and a Pink slip issued.

  1. Every paper has to have a full registration to appear in the conference proceedings.
  2. The conference is in person and papers are presented only in person.
  3. If none of the authors can come to the conference specifically because none of them could get an entrance visa, then the talk can be delegated to another person that is familiar with the work and can present it in person at the conference. Otherwise, the work will not be presented in the conference but will appear in the proceedings.

Agree with Ian about towing the boat to the mechanic. Rego papers at ready and a booking, with details. Not sure about the weigh bridge though, the weight on paperwork should be enough. Check with your mechanic first!

if your trailer is home made or doesnt have builders plate you'll need a weigh bridge ticket, if u have a builders plate the trailer weight will be stapped onto the plate or be recorded on the mechanics computer but your old rego papers will be enough
