In an idle moment, I thought I'd update the Wikipedia article for Lasersaur.

I improved it a bit, but it could certainly use some love and attention
(and some nicer photos please!)

Anyway, for the article, I was trying to find out how many Lasersaurs have
actually been built - a while back, I believe someone told me it was
around 100 - but I have no evidence for that. The Google Maps gizmo shows
43 entries - but when I look at them in detail, many of them are people
who are just talking about making one. For example, I was trying to find
a hackerspace that has built one - but none of the half dozen of them that
I looked at mentioned "lasersaur" on their web sites anywhere except as
"we are thinking about building..." or "we could use funding for...".

It would be nice if people would go and update their entries on that page
to give a more realistic view of where these machines actually are and how
many of them there are:
