The Laser Masters Pacific Coast Championship is coming up at the Bayview Boat Club on July 19-20.

-

Bay  View Boat Club is located in San Francisco, south of Pac Bell Park.  They have a nice ramp and clubhouse/bar.

 

Racing will be on San Franciso Bay, south of the Bay Bridge.  It can be windy, but generally it is not as rough as the City Front or Berkeley Circle.

Register using the Plastic Classic registration form, under the "Racing" tab at the Bay View Boat Cub website.  --  -- Use paper form so that all digits of sail number can fit!

The Laser Masters will be sharing the fun with the "Plastic Classic" regatta, for older fiberglass cruising boats on Saturday. The Plastic Classic is a San Francisco Bay tradition that is a race, bay tour, boat show, and party. 

 

On Saturday, we will sail two longer races in conjunction with the Plastic Classic, and we will join their party.  (We start a race, they start the Plastic Classic, We sail a second race).  We will share the start, windward mark, and finish.   On Sunday, we will race independently (no big boats) and sail 4 or more shorter races.  We will get in lots of good sailing on open water and share in a fun big event as well.
