Seeking traveling companions from Mid-Atlantic area two days before the big regatta in Nova Scotia. I am a confirmed registered sailor and will be able to committ now. I want to get in one day of sailing and tuning.

The plan is to share expenses, driving and food in a large and comfortable GMC V-8 extended cab Sierra. Gas mileage is quite decent and handling is smooth and steady. The truck bed is complete with a heavy duty cap; sealed and dry, fit with double locks. There is room for only 3 sailors, 3 lasers, and 3 loads of all kinds of gear.

The lasers would be hauled on roof rack and heavy duty trailer. Travel with two spare trailer tires and trailer jack. I am a AAA premium member so we will be taken care of efficiently and safely.

During the regatta the truck would be available for shared use.

My traveling interest is to make pit-stops as necessary, without stopping for big meals. Stopping for napping would be essential.

I wish to return to Mid-Atlantic shortly after the regatta. I am willing to meet in MD (or meet in Lewes, DE - leave car at private home) or area points north as far as upstate NJ/NYC. Anyone interested from the Carolinas are encouraged to join the regatta highway adventure.

Please call me anytime - 302-465-2563 or 302-645-8829 or always email.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and being on the course in the high seas together.

Ps. Any TX sailors interested? Fred, Doug?
