New Year Volunteering
Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity
meaning that our need for behind-the-scenes and office volunteers will
be increasing. If you would be interested in any of these opportunities,
please act now and email us back, or call either Kat or Jane at the
office. We are hoping to recruit enough people to do these jobs that we
would only need each of you one day a week.
In the office: help us enter volunteer hours, contact information, and
donations into our databases, answer phones, and schedule volunteers.
In the mornings: pick up the snacks that Albertson's donates to us and
drive it out to the site for our on-site volunteers to enjoy.
In the spring: we will be hosting several Collegiate Challenge
groups--typically college students on their spring break who come from
all over the country to volunteer for a week at a time. We need
volunteers to make sure they get everything they need while they're here.
Every once in a while: help us produce and mail our newsletter, update
our website, or develop promotional materials for special events.
Every day: we still need local volunteers who are available during the
week to come out to the build site!!
