Percussion allows us to communicate through rhythms inspired by the human body and nature. This musical interaction is how singer, composer, multi-instrument musician, and Brazilian music icon Carlinhos Brown expresses himself and preserves his roots. As a Grammy award-winning artist and Oscar nominee, he knows that to find your inner rhythm, "you need only open your ears and your heart."
In this course, join Carlinhos Brown on a musical journey to discover the magic of rhythm. Take a trip through the history of percussion to discover different instruments, learn techniques and exercises from Carlinhos himself, and create your own rhythmic cell. Get ready for an adventure and explore your inner percussionist.
Carlinhos Brown is a mainstay of Brazilian music and culture. He is the founder of the musical group Timbalada, one of the creators of the ax music genre, and has won several Latin Grammy Awards for his music with the Tribalistas and as Carlinhos Brown Carlito Marrn. He also earned an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song for Real in Rio, from the movie Rio, and is currently one of the judges on The Voice Brasil.
In addition to being a successful musician, Carlinhos was the first Brazilian to earn the title of Ibero-American Ambassador for Culture, a position that focuses on cultural activism by helping underprivileged communities and promoting Brazilian music.

"This course was an amazing introduction into the world of sound healing! The videos were informative, and the workbook gave me a chance to dive deeper into my studies through hands-on training. Even though this was an online course, I received personalized attention from my tutor, so I did not feel like I missed out on anything by not completing it online. I can't wait to begin my Level 2 training and start the next part of my journey to being a sound healing practitioner."
" I thoroughly enjoyed the course. I think the quality of the videos and audio recordings is excellent. The quality of lighting, voice/sound, speed, etc. are well controlled and make it easy to follow along at a nice pace. When written material is presented it is easy to read and well explained. I loved all the information and demonstrations of additional grounding instruments: ocean drum, harmony balls, maracas, rain sticks. I had no knowledge of these tools at all, so it was quite beneficial to see/hear them in action."
Hi @pickleball1946, others members have mentioned getting their prescription drugs through online pharmacies. You're wise to do your research on the specific pharmacy you use when it comes to ordering online. Some pharmacy websites can look trustworthy when they are not. It's important to always check to make sure an online pharmacy is legitimate.
My husband and I entered into the so called donut hole last year and both are on Eliquis. I asked my PCP about drugs from Canada and he gave me information about a pharmacy that other of his patients had used successfully. LifeRx is the one we are using to get Apixaban/generic Eliquis. They offer several options as to amount, strength and source for the drug including the UK, India and, of course, Canada. It took awhile and some calls to their help line to order from their somewhat confusing website and at the time the payment methods included American Express as the only credit card they would accept. The other option was to use wire transfer which is what we use. I received notice that they now do not accept any credit card for payment. You must provide them with a prescription from your doctor...ours gave us one on a full 8X10 sheet. Easily legible and fax-friendly. LifeRx notifies us when we are eligible for refills and the refill process is quick and easy. The cost of my 3 month supply was under $70 the first time but the cost increased the next time to $76. This included shipping. The price fluctuates. Expect a wait time between 2-3 weeks to receive. I'll admit I was nervous about ordering from them and was anxious waiting for the shipment to get here but we are very satisfied with the price and the help line is available. Good luck.
Many of us take this anticoagulant (5 mg) for Afib at the usual dose of twice daily... so for a three-month supply the cost would be: $262.17 plus shipping. This is much more economical than going through any of the Medicare Part D programs I've looked into.
Thanks for the info. Currently, Eliquis 5 mg through Humana Advantage Centerwell Pharmacy is more than Wal-Mart's price of $150 for 60 tablets. $150 for 60 tablets. No wonder Eliquis is the first drug on President Biden's suggested list of 10 drugs for Medicare to negotiate price. And, another thing, why do we still have this donut hole. I thought it was supposed to disappear like the bad dream it was when originally authored.
