Hello,
This is a reminder that I will be teaching a New Mexico Concealed Carry (NM CCW) refresher/renewal class Sunday, October 9th at LASC.
If your NM CCW license was issued in August 2009, September 2009, October 2009, November 2009, or December 2009, you must complete a 2-hour refresher class, and re-qualify with firearms matching the caliber and category designated on your license. Click here to register for the 2-hour refresher class.
If your 4-year NM CCW license expires in November or December 2011, you should sign up for the 4-hour renewal class on October 9th.
Click here to register for the 4-hour renewal class.
If, as of October 9th, your license has been expired for more than 60 days, you cannot renew; you must take a complete 15-hour NM CCW class again.
Show-up time for the 4-hour renewal class is 12pm, and 2pm for the 2-hour refresher class (NOTE: The class times on the LASC calendar are incorrect).
Please review equipment requirements here, course of fire requirements here, and there is more info about refresher/renewal requirements from NM DPS here.
Finally, to see an online video of my NM CCW course of fire from the student perspective with range commands, click
here.
The fee is $25 for the refresher class, and $50 for the renewal class.
To register/sign up for the either the refresher or the renewal class, click here.
Please write me if you have any questions. This email is being sent to former students of mine. However, if you know someone who did not take one of my classes, but needs a CCW refresher/renewal class, please feel free to forward this message to them.
Thanks, and in the meantime, be safe...
