Cheap/free project 1978 99 Turbo in San Dimas, CA needs new home

Hi everyone,

Richard (CC'd) contacted me about helping him find a new home for his '78 99 Turbo.  He is the 2nd owner since 1980 and parked the car about 5 years ago when the water pump went out.

It is very high miles and needs cosmetic work, but the body should be solid and had some things replaced relatively recently (factory rebuilt 4-speed gearbox has ~70k miles on it for example).  It was his daily driver until the water pump went out.

Richard needs the car gone ASAP.  It will need to be towed
