If I get under the car with it started I can see the fuel leaking down the passenger side/front of the fuel tank, it is kind of a mist (only when running) and there is no fuel on the ground in the morning but there is clearly a leak...any ideas?

angryeasterbunny will be a deadeasterbunny if you continue driving with a noticeable gas leak as such. Check out the pressure sensor / fuel gauge seals at the top of the gas tank under the rear seat. The sensor is hard to see but if there is gas up there, that may be the culprit.

Philip is exactly right.  Fuel leaks (especially as a fine mist) does not a good driving experience make.

The fuel filter is on the passenger side if the car in front of the fuel tank, it's held up above the rear axle with a little round clamp.  Sometimes where the plastic fuel lines attach to the metal fittings that bolt to the filter start to separate, and sometimes the rubber sealing washers that go from the fittings to the filter leak.  Sometimes the tank seals like Philip mentioned go bad also, or maybe the line is pinched.

You will have to get the car up on jackstands and get under there to see where it's coming from regardless.  The nice thing about leaks that makes them (usually) easy to fix, is that you can just back track to where they originate from....

Good luck!
