[Las Colinas Elementary News/Announcements] End of the Year Information

Well, it’s almost here; the end of the ’09-’10 school year. Lots of activities will be going on over the next few weeks and we wanted to give you a little warning of upcoming events.

Friday, May 21st will be LCE Field day. In order for your student to participate in field day, all fines must be paid and library books must be returned. Please help your child with this, so they don’t have to miss this exciting activity.

If you have 3rd graders, then Star Wars day will be held on June 1st. We may have some special guests who show up to help with the festivities!

4th Grade Awards Assembly will be at 9:30 am on 6/1 in the cafeteria.
2nd Grade Awards Assembly will be at 1:30 pm on 6/1 in the cafeteria.
1st Grade Awards Assembly will be at 2:15 pm on 6/1 in the cafeteria. (you may need to park in the parking lots and not in the car line so that dismissal is not slowed down at 3:00.)

Due to Star Wars day, the 3rd Grade Awards Assembly will be held on 6/2 at 8:30 am.

If you have 5th graders, 5th Grade Graduation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 on 6/3 at Irving Bible Church.

The last day of school (6/3) is a half-day and we will dismiss at 12:45.
