LA Ruby online planning meeting this Thursday night!

Hey everybody,

Join us this Thursday night on #laruby on Freenode (the IRC network) from 6:30pm to 9:00pm for an online laruby.com planning session.  Approximate schedule:

    6:30 - 7:00  Show up early and I'll add people for access to the Zen task board (http://agilezen.com) and the laruby.com github account.
    7:00 - 8:00  Brainstorming and task selection
    8:00 - 9:00  Task breakdown: Document tasks on a granular level that people can easily pick up and start coding without having to ask too many questions.


My hope is that we can get enough of the planning out of the way that we can focus mostly on development at next week's Code Jam.

If you haven't used an IRC client recently, or even if you have, join us any time on the #laruby channel.  There's usually a decent number of people logged on during the day.  Stop by and say "hi" and familiarize yourself with your IRC client while you're at it!  :-)

There are plenty of free IRC clients...I think mIRC for Windows and Colloquy for OS X are among the most popular.
