Hello all,

LArray 0.26 is now available. The complete description of changes including examples can be found at:

http://larray.readthedocs.io/en/stable/changes.html#version-0-26

For both the core and the viewer, this version includes a lot of small usability improvements, a lot of small bug fixes and a few new features. No feature really stands out so it was hard to pick the most noteworthy changes. Those include :

  • Many methods were renamed to either improve consistency, make their name more explicit or avoid confusion.
    See http://larray.readthedocs.io/en/stable/changes.html#syntax-changes
  • Implemented Axis.containing and Group.containing to select all labels containing a substring.
  • Implemented Group.startingwith, endingwith and matching to further filter groups.
  • LArray.split_axes and .combine_axes can split and combine several axes (groups) in one go.
  • Excel files with bank cells after the array will now load correctly.

Those who already have larray 0.25 or later can upgrade by simply clicking on "Update LArray" in the "LArray" menu of the Windows start menu.

Those who do not have this menu (who have an earlier version of larray), rather need to type the following command in a "Command Prompt" window (right-click on the "Windows" icon and choose "Command Prompt"):

    conda update larrayenv
