I backed up some files to a Zip file from my Mac G4 notebook. I had no choice than to back them up to a PC, and upon trying to unzip, I found that nothing could open a corrupt 10.2 GB archive. Out of skeptisim, I downloaded DZIPR, and found that it could repair my file, so I went ahead and ordered to remove the limitation of the trial version. I ran again, and while it repaired, not only did it recover some data, it recovered it ALL! After the batch repair, all files have been successfully repaired and are extracting to my mac via windows PKZip and a mapped SaMBa Network Drive. I must stress that I am extremely pleased that your product works so well, and that the support has been fantastic
To my dismay, the full product failed to recover my file so I contacted sup...@repair-zip-files.com. The Tech Support reps requested the error logs from DZIPR and after careful review, suggested a procedure for me to try. It worked!

Is a really good program, for that people that download big sfx files on internet that are damage I recommend this software! it repairs zip files and sfx files is great! but I think this software need the ability to repair rar files too :(
Absolutely! You may use the section specified on your website or any promo literature. Do me a favor and edit out the CRC reference, since CRC and Cyclic Redundancy are really the same error. If you want even more praise, today, I received an update via email for a shareware utility that contained a CAB file in a Zipfile. Well, Winzip, PKZip & WinAce all reported that the file was corrupt and could not be opened. I ran it through DZIPR and not only did the zipfile get repaired, but the enclosed CAB file was an exact byte for byte match to the cabfile I needed for the update. Seems that this little DZIPR Gem is something Microsoft ought to license. Thanks again,
I download the full program again & all the repair data I send it to my comp. That way the program WORKS very good and fix 91% of my disk!!!

We had a 60 Gigabyte zip file which would not open. Advanced Zip Repair could not repair it as it was too large. However, DataNumen provided me with another great piece of software whcih split the file into more manageable 1 Gigabyte files, and then Advanced Zip Repair successfully repaired every single one. We had tried a variety of other repair products without success, so I will certainly be coming back to DataNumen if we have any other data problems in future. Invaluable products and great support!

During normal operation, read/write heads float 3 to 6 nanometers above the platter surface, and the average dust particles found in a normal environment are typically around 30,000 nanometers in diameter.[6] When these dust particles get caught between the read/write heads and the platter, they can cause new head crashes that further damage the platter and thus compromise the recovery process. Furthermore, end users generally do not have the hardware or technical expertise required to make these repairs. Consequently, data recovery companies are often employed to salvage important data with the more reputable ones using class 100 dust- and static-free cleanrooms.[7]
Recovering data from physically damaged hardware can involve multiple techniques. Some damage can be repaired by replacing parts in the hard disk. This alone may make the disk usable, but there may still be logical damage. A specialized disk-imaging procedure is used to recover every readable bit from the surface. Once this image is acquired and saved on a reliable medium, the image can be safely analyzed for logical damage and will possibly allow much of the original file system to be reconstructed.
In some cases, data on a hard disk drive can be unreadable due to damage to the partition table or file system, or to (intermittent) media errors. The 7Zip folder only had 5 usable photos, the other folders were empty. I'm assuming the program skipped the rest of the archive because it had errors.
