Hi everyone!

Where did last week go??? I got so tied up that I missed sending out
my ENewsletter last week! This looks like it will be a chilly but
clear weekend, which makes it a great weekend to wear your heavy garb!
They are forecasting a high of 50 to 60 degrees (depending on which
weather site you check) with clouds giving way to a brightening sky
and close to zero percent chance of rain. Our coffee shop folks
promise me they will make sure they have plenty of hot coffee and hot
chocolate ready when you arrive!

We have several very talented entertainers that have joined us for the
second half of our show!

First up are the Tortuga Twins (www.tortugatwins.com), who are
returning for their 9th season at our show. Join us as we welcome back
this very talented comedy group! See them at the heated Painted Badger
stage three times per day!

Next up is Ded Bob (www.dedbob.com), which is a hilarious puppet show
designed for mature audiences. Ded Bob has been performing at numerous
festivals around the country including the Texas, Arizona, Georgia,
Colorado, New York, and Michigan shows. Come check him out at the
Painted Badger stage three times daily!

We are also happy to announce that the Lost Boys are returning for
their second season at our festival. Come enjoy the music as they
perform three times daily at the King Stage!

Don’t forget that we have several other talented stage acts that are
here for the full run of our show including Warhorse Jousting, Free
Flying Birds of Prey, Fool Hearty, Robin Hood and Maid Marion, Paolo
Garbanzo, Marc Gunn, Jamison the Juggler, Hobgoblin Hills Puppets, and
our fight troupe Ordo Procintus! We also have numerous street
entertainers, street musicians, demonstrating artists and unique
crafters that will ensure you have a fun and enjoyable day!

This weekend our theme is our Highland Fling weekend. Join us as we
celebrate Celtic pride and all things Irish and Scottish! Haggis
Rampant Bagpipes and Drum trio will be performing twice a day at the
Celtic Green stage as well as playing wonderful bagpipe music
throughout the day around the festival site!

This weekend is also the beginning of our Holiday Season, with our
merchants decorating their booths for your enjoyment! We will be
taking random surveys to help decide which shop has the best decorated
booth, so make sure you remember which one you like the best in case
you are one of the folks we ask! And make sure to bring your
Christmas lists with you. There is no better place to find a perfect
Christmas present for even your most difficult to shop for loved ones
than with our merchants and artisans in our village!

There are still seats available for the Queens Tea for this weekend.
Join Princess Adorabelle and company (and her Majesty the Queen of
course!) for this three course Tea, complete with sandwiches, scones,
lemon tarts, cakes and other wonderful snacks! The Tea is $25 per
seat, and a wonderful event for people of all ages. Advance
reservations are highly recommended, and can be made at

Our producer has set up a tent near the Steak and Ale booth in the
Joust Arena to make the Saints Game available onsite this Sunday. We
realize the irony of a football game available at a renaissance
festival, but we also realize that the Saints are in uncharted
territory and there are a lot of Saints fans that want to keep an eye
on the game. This way the entire family can come out for a day of fun
and still keep an eye on what is happening during the game!

That’s it for now. Have a great day and we look forward to seeing you
this weekend!
