Hi everyone!
I am not sure where all this cold came from, but I hope everyone is
dealing with it OK! Thank you to everyone that visited us for our 2009
season, and we are now working on preparations for our 2010 season.

I have had several folks ask me when our merchant application will
be available for our 2010 season. We will be posting them on our
regular website in the next couple of weeks, but for now you can
download it as a word document by going to
http://old.larf.org/2010merchantapp.doc

Several of our entertainers will be getting together for a Midwinter
Music Party later this month. Jamie asked me to forward information
about this party to everyone so you get one more chance to visit your
favorite musicians!

====
A “Midwinter Music Party” on Friday, January 29, 2010 will feature
musicians from the Louisiana Renaissance Festival as well as
celebrated Canadian Celtic musician Heather Dale. Louisiana
Renaissance Festival favorites Marc Gunn and Vince Conaway will
appear, along with other musicians.

Marc Gunn’s latest CD of Celtic and original songs, “The Bridge,” has
just been released. Vince Conaway plays the hammered dulcimer, and
has been on tour in Italy since the end of the faire.

The evening’s MC will be Tom Zadoyko of “Buckle and Swash.” Artist
and author Marrus will sign copies of her new book, “Lightsurfing.”

Deutches Haus, at 200 S. Galvez, is a favorite venue of Celtic, folk
and other musicians. Its amenities include reasonably-priced German-
style dinners and a full bar. Free, safe parking is available.

This will be a fun evening of music, dance and general revelry. It’s
reasonably priced, family friendly and a great way to chase away the
winter doldrums.

Advance tickets are available for $8 at https://secure.la-renfest.com
and tickets at the door will be $10.

Have a great day, stay warm, and I will be in touch again next
month!
