Hi everyone!
It’s almost summer, and things are busy at the Renaissance Festival
site! So far this year we have had two new buildings completed and two
more currently under construction. We have a few more buildings that
will be constructed over the next several months as well as some
upgrades to existing buildings. It is a busy place out here!
Madame Ghislaine announces another great line-up of wine tasting
shows, featuring her exciting line-up of premium wines at the 2011
Louisiana Renaissance Festival! The wine list for each weekend has
been posted on our website, and reservations are now available through
QuickPrint. The wine tasting includes individual elegant tasting
plates of fruit, cheese, and bread along with the wine. Marc Gunn,
Vince Conaway, Owain Phyfe and others will be there for your pleasure
during the event. Please remember that the wine tasting often sells
out far in advance of our event, so you need to make reservations as
early as possible. In fact we already have one date completely sold
out and another that only has four seats available!
Madame also offers a unique one day only event as she leads you in
exploring new tastes and aromas in distilled spirits such as brandy
(Spain), grappa (Italy), poire Williams (TBD), and calvados
(Normandy). There is only ONE BRANDY TASTING in 2011, so get your
seats early. Bask in the warmth of these delicious spirits by the
side of lovely Lake Albright.
