The Strawberry Jam begins tomorrow evening at 6pm! At last count we
have 92 bands coming out to play on seven stages at the Renaissance
Festival site. In addition to tons of music there are lots of rides
including the Tilt-o-Whirl, Zipper and Bumper Cars. Advance ride
tickets are available at a discounted price if you purchase them in
advance at https://secure.la-renfest.com or you can buy your wristband
when you arrive! The Strawberry Jam is new at the Renaissance Festival
site this year, but has been around for more than 10 years in
Ponchatoula and Hammond. I hope you stop by over the weekend to check
it out and welcome them to their new venue!
Admission to the festival is $5 for anyone 15 and older, and free for
anyone 14 and younger. Ride tickets purchased at the event are $60 for
the entire three days and $20 for a four hour block. Time blocks are
Friday 6-10pm, Saturday Nooon-4pm and 5pm-10pm

Strawberry Jam’n Toast To The Arts Festival "The Little Jazzy Fest on
the Northshore"
Friday, March 16, 2012; Saturday, March 17, 2012; & Sunday, March 18,
2012 at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival site located at 46468 River
Road Hammond, LA
Crescent City Amusement rides, Bands, Dance, Theater Arts & Crafts and
Food will be available on Friday March 16th from 6pm to 10pm, Saturday
from Noon to 10pm and Sunday from Noon to 6pm
All proceeds go to support visual and performing arts in Tangipahoa
Parish Schools
