Please distribute this to educators who might be helpful and willing to participate in a focus group.

These educators will participate in a 60-minute focus group via Zoom to learn more about their use of artificial intelligence (AI), including their knowledge, confidence, and current practices. The facilitated discussions will include 6-8 open-ended questions to explore educators’ experiences using AI tools, barriers to adoption, and professional learning needs. The focus groups will also examine educators’ broader perspectives on the evolving role of AI in education and the current AI landscape across education settings, with particular attention to barriers and opportunities for equitable access.

The focus groups will be recorded, and the data collected will support the National AI Literacy Landscape Study as part of Building AI Literacy for Inclusion in STEM, a new national initiative led by the National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP) in partnership with Ingenia Learning and STEM Next Opportunity Fund, with support from AMD.

Participants will receive a $50 gift card for their participation in the focus groups. Please share the registration link and session dates with interested educators. Kata Lucas, Senior Researcher at NGCP, will follow up with registrants to share the next steps, answer questions, and facilitate the focus groups.

Please reach out to Kata with any questions or concerns (klu...@ngcproject.org).
