Congratulations!

I have failed my  Section 2 for the third time!  I really have no clue how to deal with this section.  CLARB gives no feedback on what am I wrong with?  It is really frustrated to preparing an exam like this.  Anyone has study tips about how to prepare this section?

Hi Shawn,

I passed Section 2 in 2021. I took Sarah Gronquist's Section 1 and 2 combo course (there are now separate courses for Sections 1 and 2). I highly recommend her class which includes a comprehensive syllabus and practice questions. This class also helped me get connected with a study group. I also recommend joining a study group.

I also found the LAREPrep.com quizzes helpful, especially since they include answer explanations for all the questions.

I recommend reading the chapters in the books on CLARB's recommended reading list that cover topics listed on the LARE Orientation Guide Section 2 topics list. I found La Gro's Site Analysis book helpful for preparing for the exam.

I purchased the LAREPrep.com practice exams. I didn't purchase any of the study guides, but I heard from other people who did that these guides were helpful.

Hello! I purchased both the LAREPrep study guide and (2) practice exams and almost exclusively used those to pass Section 2, and found it all very helpful. Definitely recommend for that section specifically. The practice exams reorder questions and answers every time you take it and provide detailed explanations of the correct answers. Also generally inexpensive compared to the classes. 

I am hopeful the same strategy will help me pass Section 1 in August!

There's an app called CRAM with a lot of flashcards for all the different LARE exam sections. I found them very helpful when studying. Additionally, I took the ASLA Section 2 Lare prep webinar which I found helpful.

I am new to this group and presently preparing for section 2 exam for august. All the links and suggestions above are very helpful. Thank you everyone. I also bought LAREprep guide and it seems to have covered all the topics. i am also reading LAgro on the side. 

I had a question regarding this ASLA prep webinar. Do i have to buy the membership to have access to it or is there any concession for associate members of OALA
